Matriculant Sales Learnership

This learnership is a structured learning process for gaining theoretical knowledge and practical skills

in the workplace leading to a qualification registered on the NQF. The learnership combines a

structured learning component with practical work experience that is acquired while being

employed in the company. The learnership is outcomes-based and not time-based and allows for

recognition of prior learning.

Daily duties may vary depending on what the allocated store sells but will align with the following:
• Managing relationships with store staff (Store Managers, merchandisers, etc.)
• Merchandising
• Filling in regular checklists for all retailers when specific store is quiet
• Picking up stock orders
• Recommending stock orders
• Promoting products features and benefits to help consumers purchase the product
• Hitting targets and implementing strategies to improve sales
• Stock control
• Achieving sales targets
• Taking care of customer service including handling queries and complaints
• Participating in regular training at Head Office or Regional Branches
• Returns Management-i.e.: Bagging, Tagging and follow up

Minimum of a Matric qualification

• Smart Phone
• Proficiency with Ms Office
• IT Savvy
