UFS bursaries
The University of the Free State (UFS) is offering the Star of Stars Competition for students from the Free State province for the 2025 academic year. This competition provides bursaries covering studies in ANY field of study at UFS in 2025. Applicants will be evaluated based on academic performance, leadership achievements, and community involvement.
To apply, you must be in Matric in the 2024 academic year, residing in one of the five districts in the Free State province, and attending a Quintile 1, 2, or 3 school. Additionally, you should have a strong academic record and have applied to study at UFS for the 2025 academic year. The application form must be completed and signed by your school principal.
Submit your application form along with required documentation by post or hand delivery to the UFS Student Recruitment Services.

Kearney bursary
Kearney, a leading global management consulting firm, is offering a bursary for the 2025 academic year. This opportunity is aimed at students in their penultimate year of study who aspire to pursue a career in Consulting.
To be eligible, applicants must have completed Matric and be currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s Degree program with a minimum overall aggregate of 65%. They should not have failed more than two subjects in their degree studies. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and English is required, along with strong academic, communication, critical thinking, and analytical skills. Applicants should also demonstrate attributes such as innovation, collaboration, goal orientation, adaptability, willingness to help others, and a strong work ethic.
